Rental Extension (for Rent-A-Pump By Hegen)

The rental cost per month differs based on the rental duration:

• 30 days rental - S$70
• 90 days rental - S$160 (i.e. ~S$50 / month)
• 180 days rental - S$250 (i.e. ~S$40 / month)

Your breast pump rental can come with a brand-new set of Hegen Electric Breast Pump accessories priced at $120 exclusively for rental customers (optional). They are yours to keep even after the rental period.

Here’s an example to illustrate the rental costs:

If you would like to rent the Hegen Electric Breast Pump for 3 months and get a new set of accessories, you will pay S$280 upfront in total - S$160 for the rental and S$120 for the new breast pump accessories.

You can decide at any time during your rental period, to keep your pump for an additional period. Simply reach out to our Customer Experience Team at cs@hegen.com at any time to request for a rental extension.

Rental extensions will be charged at a slightly cheaper rate as our standard rental packages (without the cost of the accessories set) as follows: 

• 30 Days Extension - S$60 (only S$2/day)
• 90 Days Extension - S$150 (only S$1.67/day)
• 180 Days Extension - S$240 (only S$1.33/day)

Alternatively, if you prefer to own a Hegen Electric Breast Pump after enjoying the rental experience, you can also reach out to our Customer Experience Team at cs@hegen.com to request to purchase a brand new Electric Breast Pump device at S$270.

The Breast Practice Workshop is a group workshop, conducted virtually online, that is designed to equip our users with the necessary knowledge to kickstart their breastfeeding journey. We would encourage you to attend the workshop 4-6 weeks prior to your Estimated Due Date ("EDD"). This Breast Practice Workshop Add-on includes attendance for up to 2 pax.

If you do add the Breast Practice Workshop to your Rent-A-Pump service, our Customer Experience Team will be reaching out to you with further instructions on how to register for the workshop purchased. Please register for your appointment within 3 months from the point of purchase or it will expire (and no refunds will be provided in such cases).

The Lactation Consultation Add-On is a 1-hour-long private consultation session held at the Hegen Lactation Centre on weekdays with our International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. It is designed to provide one-to-one support, advice, and guidance on anything related to breastfeeding - including help with issues like nipple measurement, nipple soreness, pain, or engorgement, etcetera. This Lactation Consultation Add-On includes attendance for up to 2 pax, typically for the mother and her partner, or the preferred caregiver.

If you do add Lactation Consultation to your Rent-A-Pump service, our Hegen Lactation Centre Team will be reaching out to you to confirm your appointment date and time separately. Please register for your appointment within 3 months from the point of purchase or it will expire (and no refunds will be provided in such cases).

You may only be charged other additional fees of up to $270 within 2 weeks from the end of the rental period in the following cases:

• The Hegen Rent-A-Pump Electric Breast Pump device is not returned on time at the end of the rental period (i.e. within 2 working days after the last day of the rental period)
• The Hegen Rent-A-Pump Electric Breast Pump device is not returned in good working condition and there are physical or water damages to the device
• The Hegen Rent-A-Pump Electric Breast Pump is not returned at all

We would highly encourage a nipple measurement from week 35 onwards!

Alternatively, you can also select self-collection to enjoy a complimentary nipple size measurement service from our Customer Experience Team so that we can recommend the suitable flange size.

Delivery time is 1-2 working days before the start of your rental period, depending on mode of delivery.

If you have opted for free delivery, your Hegen Rent-A-Pump Electric Breast Pump order will be delivered via our appointed logistics partner. Priority Shipping will not be available for Hegen Rent-A-Pump Service. Please note for local Singapore addresses, we are unable to deliver to Jurong Island, Army Camps, Changi Airport, Tuas, and Fishery Ports, as well as to post office boxes. Extra charges will be applicable for Sentosa Island addresses. Delivery will be arranged during office hours (0900 to 1800 hours). Kindly ensure that there is a recipient to receive your items during the stipulated hours. You will incur an additional delivery charge if there is a failed delivery attempt.

If you have opted for self-collection, our Customer Experience Team will be reaching out to you 7 days before the start of your rental period to arrange for your collection appointment at the Hegen Office. Please note our office address and available appointment slots: Address: 438A Alexandra Road, Block A Alexandra Technopark, Unit #02-01 Singapore 11996 (Mon – Fri, excluding public holidays, 10AM – 12PM, 2PM – 5PM). During your collection appointment, you will also be able to enjoy a complimentary nipple measurement service conducted by our Customer Experience team if you are purchasing the Hegen Breast Pump Accessories Kit with your order.

An email reminder will be triggered 7 days before the end of your rental period and our Customer Experience Team will be reaching out to you to confirm your return arrangements.

We will confirm the details and time so that we can arrange for a courier delivery with our appointed logistics partner to pick up the Rent-A-Pump device.

Do note that for local Singapore addresses, we are unable to pick-up from Jurong Island, Army Camps, Changi Airport, Tuas, and Fishery Ports, as well as from post office boxes. Extra charges also apply for Sentosa Island addresses. Pick-up will be arranged during office hours (0900 to 1800 hours). Kindly ensure that there is a sender to deliver your device to our logistics partner during the stipulated hours. You will incur an additional delivery charge if there is a failed delivery attempt.
