Do you have a size chart for flange size vs nipple size?

To find the best flange fit, we usually recommend adding 4mm (1mm) to your measured nipple size. This helps ensure comfort and efficient pumping during your breastfeeding journey.

Hello, which flange size should i use if my nipple size is 16mm / 17mm?

Thank you so much for reaching out to us at Hegen! 😊

As a general rule, mummy's nipples may become more erect/swollen after pumping, hence we would highly recommend mummies to provide an allowance of at least 3-4mm in the selection of flanges. This is so that the nipple does not rub against the nipple tunnel post-pump, etc.

We will also encourage for mummies to have their nipple measurements conducted from gestational week 35 for a more accurate measurement. As such, if you are having nipple measurements of 16mm, we will encourage to purchase Softsqround flanges 19mm while for nipple measurements of 17mm, we will recommend to purchase Softsqround flanges 22mm.

I've been told that nipple sizes can expand over time. I'm currently at week 24—when would be the ideal time to get this?

Is this compatible with Spectra pumps?

You may be glad to know that you can utilise our pump accessories paired with your Spectra pump for pumping.

If you are using Spectra's pump accessories, you may be glad to know that you can still pump directly into our Hegen Bottles. All you need would be our Wide Neck Adapter and you can connect the adapter to your Spectra accessory and to our bottles for pumping.
