THE ROLE – E-Commerce Executive

Hegen offers the E-Commerce Executive the opportunity to drive the expansion of our e-commerce business. Equipped with a strategic mindset and proficiency in account management, they will have the opportunity to devise, implement, and review strategic campaigns alongside the E-Commerce Manager. Their keen grasp of e-commerce principles, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness will be critical in propelling the growth of Hegen’s e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities:

Driving growth of e-commerce business:

  • Implement and execute campaigns on brand website and marketplaces to achieve maximum gains in terms of revenue and profitability and brand exposure
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to strengthen digital marketing initiatives for ecommerce, including search, FB and IG
  • Work with marketing team to propose marketing plan for new product launches, key online campaigns and events
  • Work closely with brand and partnerships team to roll out collaboration campaign mechanics for online channels

Account management of key partners

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key partners including marketplaces, logistic providers and other service providers that support the online business
  • Assist in strategizing negotiation efforts with partners
  • Review partner performance periodically and provide recommendations for performance improvement

E-commerce operations:

  • Maintain and ensure that content, including both product description and images, is up-to-date and identify ways to optimise content for search and better conversion
  • Ensure smooth daily operations in all aspects of the e-commerce business, from listing to inventory, order, payment, fulfilment and returns/exchanges
  • Work closely with warehouse team to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
  • Maintain high standards of customer service for online customers and work with customer experience team to enhance overall brand experience for all customers

Analysis and reporting:

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on e-commerce sales performance and assist Manager in P&L reporting
  • Use data-driven insights to track business outcomes and inform future business activities

Requirements:

  • Strong interest and understanding in digital marketing and e-commerce principles (experience working with a marketplace platform is a plus)
  • Resourceful in finding new ways and approaches to solve problems
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for local homegrown brands and the consumer goods industry is a plus
  • A good degree or diploma in business, marketing or related fields
